Quasimodo Monday Pilgrimage

The traditional pilgrimage of the town is celebrated on the second Monday after Easter Sunday, where the residents gather around the Sanctuary of the Virgen de los Remedios and spend a day of celebration. It is the oldest pilgrimage in the province of Cádiz.

It has been celebrated since 1715 to give thanks to the rains that ended a prolonged drought. Pilgrimage declared of National Tourist Interest of Andalusia. These days it is a tradition to taste typical local products: Monday cake, Hornazo ... In 2015 the 3rd Centenary of the popular Pilgrimage was celebrated.
