Normally during the month of February the Carnival is celebrated in Olvera, it begins the weekend before Ash Wednesday. A party that year after year is gaining special relevance due to the large influx of people who take to the streets of the town to enjoy a few days full of color, fun and carnival letrillas. During a week different parades take place, performances of chirigotas ... The end of the carnival is lived with the traditional piñata Sunday, which in recent years has been celebrated on Saturday. This is the final climax of the carnival where the streets are full of costumes, joy and color.
