Cultural Route to the Sanctuary of Los Remedios
Starting from Olvera, the path runs through an old path that leads to the Ermita de los Remedios, passing in front of the Lavadero de Pino, a place with a lot of tradition in our town between the years 1,685 and 1,750 although its use lasted until the middle of the 20th century. .
In the Hermitage, the Virgin of Los Remedios (15th century), patron saint of Olvera and of great devotion in the area, is venerated. The Sanctuary is built in front of the Herriza de Los Remedios, a place that every year, on the second Monday after Easter Sunday, celebrates the popular Quasimodo Monday pilgrimage.
