THE IES ZAFRAMAGÓN DE OLVERA PRESENTS THE COGNITIVE ACCESSIBILITY PLAN PROJECT OLVERA FOR EVERYONE!

The students of the CFGS of Social Integration of the IES Zaframagón, within the framework of the professional module of Alternative and Augmentative Communication Services, develop as a final project the design of a tourist brochure of the town for people with cognitive functional diversity. The project Cognitive Accessibility Plan Olvera for everyone! developed by the students of the CFGS of Social Integration of the IES Zaframagón supposes the adaptation of the official Olvera tourist guide, published by the Town Hall of the town, for people with cognitive functional diversity. The main objective of the project is to create environments and services that are understandable to all, building inclusive spaces and favoring the development of active people. Through the guide, its creators intend to increase the possibility of participation of people in the community, favoring inclusive tourism for full citizenship. For the configuration of this guide, its creators resorted to easy-to-read techniques and pictograms that facilitate the understanding of the contents for people with difficulties in communicating or interpreting the information, allowing them to “better know and find the services, monuments and accommodation to which go ”, details Lorena, a student of the cycle. Easy Reading is a method that collects a set of guidelines and recommendations related to the writing and adaptation of texts, the design and layout of documents and the validation of their comprehensibility, aimed at making information accessible to people with difficulties reading comprehension. The guide, which has been validated by the Association in favor of People with Intellectual Disabilities of Motril, the Costa Granadina and Alpujarras APROSMO through its AprosmoAdapta service, guarantees that from now on Olvera will be a more inclusive destination, offering a guide useful and practical for people with cognitive functional diversity who visit the municipality to move more easily. Both the CFGM Care for people in a situation of dependency and the CFGS Social Integration have good acceptance and professional output. They are mandatory face-to-face cycles, 6 hours a day and the application submission deadline is from June 15 to 30.
